Few more figures from Japan

IlVJ has finished few more figures for his Realm of Chaos Khorne warband, a few goblins with bows, led by a chieftain with mustache.

Very nice oldhammd models sculpted by Bob Olley, Tom Meyer and Kev Adams, all classic and excellent sculpts.

The last Canadian miniatures

I painted the last two miniatures I'll do in Canada before the move. I won't call these the last Canadian miniatures ever because one can never know, but they are the last for now.

I acquired these two guys in a lot I traded for some painting and, since I had a unit of 23 spearmen, adding these two to make it 25 strong seemed just the right thing to do.

They are orcs from the Fantasy Warriors boxed game, a Warhammer like game produced by Grenadier Models in the mid 90s, a pretty good game, but it could never (for obvious reasons) compete with the heavy weight of fantasy wargaming.

I painted orange and will use them as hobgoblin mercenaries.

There were 7 or 8 more in the lot, but I sent them to my brother, I don't think I need to paint more of these guys.

IlVJ to the rescue

As hoped, IlVJ finished another long time coming small project.

He finished the Nightmare Legion, a Warhammer third edition Regiment of Renown that beloged to our friend Cesku when we were teenagers.

He added a similar looking champion to bring the unit to 25 models, a nice large block of skeleton spearmen to fend off the enemy.

He went for a classic red and black colour scheme that looks really striking.
