Cold War tanks

 These are a few old Esci kits that IlVJ bought in Japan and put together during covid.

During my last visit he gave them to me, so I decided to paint them.

As with all other Esci stuff, they have a very high nostalgic vibe for us, so I could not let them sit unpainted for long.

USA M113, vietnam war/M113 americano della guerra in Vietnam

This is a model that IlVJ built some 25 years ago, before we even started gaming anything. I recently found it and repainted it. Even though some of the old paint and decals show through I'm quite happy to have given it a new life. Maybe someday it will also have a chance to be used in some game.


Questo è un modellino che IlVJ aveva costruito circa 25 anni fa, prima ancora che iniziassimo a giocare a qualche wargame. L'ho ritrovato di recente e l'ho ridipinto.
Anche se si intravedono i segni della vecchia colorazione e delle decals, sono molto contendo di avergli ridato una nuova vita. Chissà che un giorno non abbia anche occasione di essere usato in qualche partita.
