Easter Battletech/Battletech a Pasqua

I haven't posted pictures of a game in a long long time.
I played a very good game of Battletech Miniatures with my friends Garner, Adrian and Neil yesterday. We played on Garner's table which is still under some kind of construction, but already looks beautiful.

We used mine and Garner's miniatures and I think the overall look of the game is quite impressive.
It was a medium sized game, a mercenary reinforced lance of 5 mechs with 4 transports and infantry were trying to "liberate" some secret prototype from a lightly defended Taurian base (3 medium and light mechs, a very damaged Atlas and 4 light tanks) with reinforcements ready to save the day (a medium and a heavy lance), which never made it on the table.

The game was very closely fought and it ended with a Taurian victory when the last infantry transport carrying the prototype was destroyed on its way off the board by a lucky machine gun hit.


E' da molto tempo che non posto delle foto di una partita.
Ieri ho giocato una partita di Battletech Miniatures con i miei amici Garner, Adrian e Neil. Abbiamo giocato sul tavolo di Garner che , anche se ancora in costruzione, e' gia' spettacolare.

Abbiamo usato miniature mie e di Garner e l'aspetto estetico della partita era decisamente soddisfacente.
E' stata una partita di "taglia" media con una lancia rinforzata (5 mechs con 4 plotoni di fanteria su trasporti) di mercenari che cercava di "liberare" un prototipo da una base del Concordato Tauriano parzialmente difesa (3 mech leggeri o medi, un Atlas ampiamente danneggiato e 4 carri leggeri) con rinforzi in arrico (che pero' non ce l'hanno fatta).

La partita e' stata molto combattuta e si e' conclusa, il turno prima dell'arrivo dei rinforzi, con la vittoria dei Tauriani quando l'ultimo trasporto corazzato in grado di portare in salvo il prototipo e' stato abbattuto da un fortunato colpo di mitragliatrice.

 The mercenary infantry grabs the prototype and tries to run/La fanteria mercenaria acchiappa il prototipo e cerca di fuggire.

 

 Medium mechs on the attacking team bombard the defenders to clear a corridor for the infantry transports/I mech medi degli attaccanti bonmardano i difensori per aprire un corridoio di fuga per il trasporti della fanteria.

 

The last turret and defender light tanks miracolously manage to destry the attacker's hover transports/L'untima torretta e carro leggero dei difensori riescono a mettere fuori combattimento i trasporti dell'attaccante in fuga.
