This is the first miniature that I finished in the new house, I actually bought it to celebrate the move. It is a Cyber ape from Reaper Bones, it is called Ape-X. I find it very humorous and plan, someday, to use it in some game of Rogue Trader or some sci-fi rpg (Star Frontiers).

Questa e' la prima miniatura che ho finito nella casa nuova, in effetti l'ho comprata per celebrare il trasloco.
E' un Cyber gorilla della Reaper Bones, si chiama Ape-X. Lo trovo molto umoristico e spero, un giorno, di usarlo per qualche partita di Rogue Trader o per qualche GDR di fantascienza (Star Frontiers).

Getting ready/Preparandosi

The house I moved into doesn't have a plave where to spray paint miniatures apart from the garden, so I was concerned about the winter time.
I decided to get a good amount of miniatures ready now that the weather is good, so at the moment, instead of actually painting, I am mostly filing, gluing and priming miniatures.
I generally don't like to post work in progress stuff, but that is all I have at the moment, it takes a while to get over 200 models built and ready to go. I'm still trying to get something finished, and I should have something for next week.

La casa in cui mi sono trasferito non ha un posto dove spruzzare il primer alle miniature a parte il giardino, quindi stavo valutando come fare in inverno.
Ho infine deciso di preparare e primerare un buon numero di miniature ora che il tempo lo permette, quindi, per adesso, invece di dipingere sto limando, incollando e dando il primer.
In generale non mi piace postare lavori in corso, ma al momento e' tutto quello che ho, ci vuole tempo a preparare piu' di 200 pezzi. Sto comunque cercando di finire qualcosa e dovrei riuscire a postare materiale dipinto per la prossima settimana.

New old mechs/Nuovi vecchi mech

This is a lance of mechs that I bought second hand, stripped of old paint and repainted.
Unfortunately the stripping process didn't work as well as I would have liked, I used Pinesol, but there were at least two layers of thick old paint and I could not remove all the little paint flakes in the crevices and it shows on the final models, but they are still good enough for the table.

Questa e' una lancia di mech che ho comprato di secodna mano, li ho sverniciati e ridipinti.
Sfortunatamente lo sverniciamento non ha funzionato a dovere, uo usato il Pinesol, ma sui modelli c'erano almeno due strati di vecchia vernice e non sono riuscito a rimuovere i pezetti di vernice negli anfratti piu' nascosti e la cosa si vede sui modelli anche dopo dipinti.
Comunque vanno abbastanza bene per il tavolo da gioco, quindi non sono totalmente insoddisfatto.

Battletech vehicle/Veicolo di Battletech

So, I am done moving and I managed to find a table on which to set the painting station, all I need is to start producing something and posting again.
In the meantime I realized I still had a painted figure I had not taken a photo of and so I can scrap a little post.
This is a miniature one of the guys of the friday night games gave me, it is part of a set of two, a vehicle and a mech, which are supposed to be the a convertible machine.
I found something that looked similar to each of them in a TRO and decided to use them as very good proxies.
The vehicle is done, the mech will hopefully be done soon.

Battletech infantry and battle armors/Fanteria e armature potenziate per Battletech

I just finished moving to a new house, so I haven't painted anything in the last week or so.
Fortunately I had some finished models to post.
At the moment I don't have a desk, so there will be no painting in the near future, I apologize if I'll skip a week or two with the posts.


Ho appena traslocato in una nuova casa, quindi non ho dipinto nulla negli ultimi giorni.
Fortunatamente avevo alcuni pezzi finiti e fotografati per un post.
Al momento non ho una scrivania, quindi non dipingere' per qualche tempo, mi scuso se saltero' qualche post nelle prossime settimane.
