First Dragon Rampant army/Primo esercito per Dragon Rampant

IlVJ has recently been dragged into playing Dragon Rampant by one of his Italian buddies in Japan.
He used it as a pretext to get some of his old rpg human miniatures out of a box and paint them up.
Dragon Rampant is very flexible in terms of what can represent what in the amry, so IlVJ went with some kind of "Northern", slightly barbarian theme.
The "army" is a small thing and he managed to get it all finished in just a few weeks.

IlVJ si e', di recente, lasciato trascinare da uno dei suoi amici Italiani in Giappone a giocare a Dragon Rampant.
Ha usato la scusa per tirar fuori dalle scatole un po' dei suoi vecchi umani da gdr e dipingerli.
Dragon Rampant e' molto flessibile per quel che riguarda cosa si puo' usare per rappresentare le varie truppe, quindi IlVJ e' andato su un tema "nordico", leggermente barbaro.
L'"esercito" e' una cosa piuttosto piccola e IlVJ e' riuscito a finirlo nel giro di poche settimane.

Orcs and goblins artillery/Artigleria degli orchi e goblin

A while ago I posted some Warhammer Empire artillery, this time it's the orcs and goblins turn.
These are all non GW models, but I think they have a really nice Oldhammer feel, the catapult is from Zvezda, the ballistae are from Wizkids and all the crew are home cast Prince August models.
I tried to decorate the bases as much as possible, to make them as close as possible to a diorama.

Un po' di tempo fa avevo postato dell'artigletia dell'Impero di Warhammer, questa volta e' il turno degli orchi e goblin.
Tutti i modelli sono non GW, ma penso che abbiano un bello stile Oldhammer, la catapulta e' delal Zvezda, le baliste sono della Wizkids e tutti i serventi sono fatti in casa con degli stampi della Prince August.
Ho decorato le basette il piu' possibile per avere un effetto diorama.

Various Warhammer or Oldhammer miniatures/Varie miniature di Warhammer o Oldhammer

IlVj has been slowly, but steadily been working on various old Warhammer models.
He took the very unwise decision to strip all his old elves and repaint them, for now he managed to finish 2, but in reality one of them was painted by our friend Dave. Dave used to be a painter for GW in the 90s and the model he painted for ilVJ is really something else.
Other than the elves, fortunately, IlVJ managed to finish a good number of undead and a couple of orcs.

IlVJ sta lentamente, ma con costanza, lavorando su un po' di vecchi modelli di Warhammer.
Ha preso la malaugurata decisione di scerniciare tutti i suoi vecchi elfi e di rifarli.
Per ora ne ha ridipinti due, ma uno e' stato in realta' opera del nostro amico Dave. Dave lavorava come pittre per la GW negli anni 90 e il pezzo che ha dipinto lui e' decisamente di un altro livello.
Oltre agli elfi, comunque, IlVJ ha sfornato un buon numero di non morti e un paio di orchi.

Random Sci-fi models/Vari modelli di fantascienza

This week we have a more random post, some sci-fi models from different sources.
Questa settimana un post un po' piu' vario del solito, modelli fantascientifici di diversa origine.

First a couple of Dark Future Interceptors, these are part of the old Dark Future set me and IlVJ trod about 25 years ago.
It never saw much use, but we still dream of a small campaign some day.
The two cars were very badly painted many years ago and IlVJ decided to strip them and repaint them.
He still has a Renegade and a bike to paint, but he wants to airbrush those, so we will have to wait a bit before we see them.

Per primi, due Interceptor di Dark Future, fanno parte della scatola che io e IlVJ barattammo circa 25 anni fa.
Il gioco non ha mai vosto molto utilizzo, ma speriamo sempre di poter metter su una piccola campagna un giorno o l'altro.
Le due auto erano state malamente dipinte tanti anni fa e IlVJ ha deciso di sverniciarle e rifafrle.
Ha ancora un Renegade e una moto da fare, ma vuole utilizzare l'aerografo per quelle, quindi ci tocchera' aspettare ancora un po' per vederle.


Second we have a Magella tank from an old Bandai Gundam range.
I used it as a test model to experiment with some AK weathering products my brother gave me.
I also tried some chipping and put random leftover german decals on it.
I'm quite pleased with the result and I might even end up using it in some sci fi game.

Secondo abbiamo un carro armato Magella di una vecchia serie di modelli della Bandai di Bundam.
L'ho usato come test per dei prodotti da invecchiamento della AK che mi ha regalato mio fratello.
Ho poi fatto un esperimento di scrostature ed aggiunto delle vecchie decals tedesche.
Sono abbastanza soddisfatto del risultato e potrei anche finire per usarlo in qulche gioco di fantascienza.
