I actually started painting these over six months ago, but I wanted to have them all done for a nice big post.
These figures come from a boxed set from 1991 that Ral Partha put out for the then new Dark Sun setting for AD&D second edition.
I've always had a soft spot for Dark Sun, I read the setting rules and own an adventure and another book, but never actally managed to play it, players seem to always be too scared by this very lethal setting.
I love these figures and will use them when they fit my regular D&D campaign and, maybe, one day I;ll manage to run a Dark Sun campaign.
Questa settimana un post speciale, dei vecchi pezzi della Ral Partha di Dark Sun.
Inizia a dipingere questi pezzi piu' di sei mesi fa, ma volevo finirli tutti per poter fare un unico post bello ricco.
Queste miniature fanno parte di un set che la Ral Partha fece uscire nel 1991 per supportare l'allora nuova ambientazione di Dark Sun per AD&D seconda edizione.
Io ho sempre avuto un debole per questa ambientaione, ho letto le regole ed ho un'avventura ed un libro di espansione, ma non sono mai riuscito a trovare nessuno che volesse incominciare una campagna, i giocatori sembrano sempre spaventati dalla letalita' di questa ambientazione.
Per ora usero' queste miniature quando saranno adatte alla mia attuale campagna di D&D e chissa', magari in futuro riusciro' anche a far partire una campagna di Dark Sun.
