Dwarf warband/Banda da guerra di nani

I finally got around to paint some quite old dwarves from Fantasy Warriors, an old Warhammer style game published by Grenadier in the mid 90s.
I remember playing the game a few times and liking it, but since it was just another take on Warhammer it didn't stick around too long.
The boxed set (purchased with my brother and some friends) included some dwarves and orcs (very classic match) and even if they were never great figures, I always kept them with the idea, sooner or later, to paint them.
I painted some of the orcs a few years ago using a quick shade, but the result never really appealed to me. The last orcs I had were finished last year and now it was finally time to paint the dwarves.
I didn't go crazy with the paint, I actually tried to finish them as quickly as possible, but I'm still quite satisfied with the result.
The plan is to use them in my Battlesystem or Warhammer games, I don't have a ton of them, but still enough to use as allies of the good guys (humans) or on their own in smaller games.


Sono finalmente riuscito a dipingere i nani di Fantasy Warriors, un vecchio gioco in stile Warhammer pubblicato dalla Grenadier a meta' degli anni 90.
Ricordo di aver provato il gioco alcune volte e che mi fosse piaciuto, ma siccome era solo un'altro gioco in stile Warhammer non e' durato troppo a lungo.
La scatola del gioco (comprata in societa' con mio fratello e alcuni amici) conteneva nani e orchi (accoppiata classica) ed anche se non erano i pezzi piu' belli mai visti, li ho sempre tenuti con l'idea, prima o poi, di dipingerli.
Dipinsi gli orchi alcuni anni fa come esperimento usando un quick shade, ma il risultato non mi ha mai convinto troppo. L'ultima unita' di orchi l'ho dipinta l'anno scorso e adesso e' finalmente venuto il momento dei nani.
Non mi sono evvessivamente sbattuto con la pittura, ho anzi cercato di farli piu' velocemente possibile, ma sono abbastana soddisfatto del risultato.
L'idea e' di usarli nelle mie partite di Battlesystem e Warhammer, non ne ho moltissimi, quindi potranno fungere da alleati del "buoni" (umani) o da contingente indipendente per partite piu' piccole.
