Louis XIV french/Francesi di Luigi XIV

This is the first part of my Louis XIV army, I still have to paint a ton of cavalry, some artillery and the baggage train. It will take me long, but I'll try to finish the whole army before the end of 2010/Questa è la prima parte del mio esercito di Luigi XIV, devo ancora dipingere una tonnellata di cavalleria, dell'artiglieria e il treno delle salmerizie. Spanish infantry XVII century/Fanteria spagnola XVII secolo

This week I only have one picture to post, I've started to paint some Spanish and French troops for the late XVII century DBR project to match my brother's Savoys. These spanish are a kind of experiment to see how they paint up. I'll now be working on the French as well, so expect some posts on them as well/Questa settimana ho una sola foto da postare, ho iniziato degli spagnoli e francesi del tardo XVII secolo per DBR, da usare con i Savoia di mio fratello. Questi spagnoli sono una specie di esperimento per vedere come si dipingono questi pezzi. Lavorerò contemporaneamente su francesi e spagnoli, quindi aspettatevi dei post misti su uno e l'altro esercito.

Some more Warhammer Orcs/Altri Orchi di Warhammer

This week the post is very little, only one picture, but the hoidays and the fact that IlVJ come over from Japan didn't let me any time to paint or take pictures. This week we only have one expanded plastic orc arrer boyz unit from Grenadier that I used as another dipping experiment. As I said in a previous post, there are some models that, in my opinion, don't deserve too much effort, even though they deserve to be painted anyway, so I started to use dipping and I am pretty satisfied with the result/Questa settimana il post è molto piccolo, solo una foto, ma le vacanze e il fatto che IlVJ e famiglia siano venuti in Italia per Natale non mi hanno lasciato molto tempo per piturare o fare delle foto. Oggi abbiamo solo un'unità di orchi arcieri in plastica della Grenadier che ho usato per un ulteriore esperimento di dipping. Come ho detto in un post più vecchio, ci sono dei modelli che, secondo me, non meritano più di tanto tempo per la pittura, seppur meritino di essere dipinti comunque, quindi ho iniziato a usare il dipping e sono abbastanza soddisfatto dei risultati ottenuri.

More Warhammer 40K Howling Griffons/Altri Howling Griffons di Warhammer 40K

These are a couple of elements I added to my Howling Griffons army. As the army was built for 2nd edition it misses something to be used in the latest one, but I'll add some more in the future/Queste sono un paio di aggiunte che ho fatto per il mio esercito degli Howling Grifons. Siccome l'esercito era stato fatto per la seconda edizione, mancano alcune cose per usarlo nell'ultima, ma aggiungerò altri elementi in futuro.

DBA work in progress/Lavori in corso di DBA

These are parts of some DBA projects I've been working on not so recently. When completed they should turn into a Carthaginian, a Gallic and an Ancient Spanish armies, to be used together for BBDBA/Questi sono pezzi di alcuni progetti di DBA su cui stavo lavorando tempo fa. Una volta completati saranno un esercito di Cartaginesi, uno di Galli e uno di Ispanici antichi da usare insieme per BBDBA.

WAB Normans/Normanni di WAB

This is my Norman army. It took me quite long to paint and I still have to complete a couple of units. All the shields and banners are hand painted and even if they took me ages to paint I think the result is wll worth the efort/Questo è il mio esercito di Normanni. Mi ci è voluto parecchio per dipingerlo e ho ancora un paio di unità da finire. Tutti gli scudi e le bandiere sono dipinti a mano e, anche se mi sono costati molta fatica e tempo, penso che il risultato ripaghi lo sforzo richiesto.
