Epic scale terrain piece

 This is another kind of cheat post, I didn't build or paint this piece, I just restored it and put it on a decent base.

A couple of weeks ago I went to visit my friend Sergio who was visiting from Belgium. I met him at his parents' place, where he still has a massive hoard of figures, predominantly 40K.

Back in the end of the 90s we used to play a lot of 40K second edition with him and other friends, so it is always nice to chat about old times and miniatures.

During the visit, he stumbled on this piece of terrain that he (probably) built back in the days inspired by the ork buildings appearing at the time on White Dwarf. The thing was mounted on an (ugly) green cardboard base and one of the supporting struts was broken.

I quickly fixed the broken part, rebased it and touched up a couple of damage spots and here it is, ready for use. I'm not sure if and when I'll play Epic again, but it is a nice addition to the terrain collection.

Finally something to post

 As I preciously mentioned, I haven't had too much time to paint recently, but last week I managed to squeeze in a few hours and I managed to complete a "project" that I started before moving back from Canada in 2025.

It is the big unit of Ral Partha orcs, I can field it either as two 24 men strong units, or as a single uber unit of 48 boyz.

I had a lot of fun painting them and doing all the orcs in different colours gives me a very 80s vibe.

A little Panzer

 Life is still very busy, so there has been very little painting for me in the last few weeks.

My brother and the family came to visit recently and he brought me a 1/72 tank he got second hand (built and painted) for the equivalent of about 1.5 Euros.

It is decently built and painted, I just added a drybrush and a base to make it sturdy for the gaming table. 

I guess it doesn't really count as something I painted, but it is in the collection now and since I have little else to post, it will have to do.
